WARNING BUYER BEWARE, Joerg in Austria marks parts up 100%!!!
he masquerades as an "audi parts dealer" but he just goes to his local dealer and tacks on a 100% markup. Apparently the y-pipes he sells for 700, are only 350. This is taking complete advantage of people who trust him and send him money. Now here we have some overpriced tuners, but nobody works on a 100% markup. DO NOT SEND HIM ORDERS AND MONEY, if you want to see his address e-mail me. His e-mail address is gb2000@rocketmail.com
and i believe his forum name is sonnyverdara or something to that effect.

I'm not condoning his business ethics... but... he's a business man.. Supply and Demand right??
If you can't find it.. and he can... and you want to pay... its up to the buyer.
Why do people buy rights to buy a car for $16k?
I was just on Ebay and looked at 2001 M3 closed items and saw people who want something so bad that they will pay for it.
It's all business...
Cell phone accessories are a prime example.
leather case
Cost = a dollar or something close..
Retail = 20 bucks
That's even worse... Everyone works to make money.. bottom line..
Don't rag on this guy just because of this. Not a big deal.
It all comes down to buyers discretion and what they want. It's up to the buyer to think whether it's worth it or not for them to buy whatever they want. We're all smart people.
my .02 cents

Sigh. Economics 101...
Seller makes offer to sell at price X. Buyer accepts price X or not.
If you're upset that you paid price X from seller A when seller B has price Y, then post seller B's information. That would be helpful information!
All I see you doing is trashing this guy across all the message boards. Your argument that "He pays X and charges 2X" doesn't make it a ripoff. I pay a guy $100 a pop every 2 years to adjust the carb on my truck so it passes emissions. It only takes him 15 minutes...is that a ripoff? IMO, no. He has the knowledge that I lack, and I (happily) pay for it. This Joerg guy has connections you lack and you're paying for it. You totally neglect to mention whether your $700 price includes shipping, duties, etc... or not. If it does, then the markup is probably much closer to what you seem to expect. Doesn't matter in either case, you thought the item was worth $X, and you paid it...end of story.
I'm sorry you are dissatisfied with your purchase, but that's the way the world works.

I have been happy with his products, I expect him to make a mark-up,
That way, he's encouraged to find and sell more goodies.
If you don't like his price, don't buy it, but don't expect everyone else to work for no reward. I'm a capitalist, and support the profit motive.
