What block shows the exhaust gas temp on the vagtool? Thanks.

You thinking about getting a gauge?
I've never heard about any of the Audi tuners using this as a gauge of turbo efficiency to date. I'm sure they do, but with our "plug-and-play" chip setups for these cars, most Audi people really have no idea what exhaust gas temps are all about.
Since I have immersed myself in the tuning of the WRX as of recently, I've come to realize that EGTs are huge when it comes to knowing how your turbo car is running. I plan to install one in mine if and when I ever get the damn thing. Only problem is that the factory equipment to read this temp is marginal at best. Tapping into the manifold correctly with a good TC is the tricky part.
And no, I'm not sure which block it is for your application, you Blockhead!

I believe the answer is ...
Blocks 43 and 44, left and right. I have run this on an S4 and it appears to give the EGT's (starts off around 300 degrees and really climbs from there. Only done one test run. My understanding is some chip tuners are using EGT's as a marker for their software.
