What cleaning products to use for cleaning surface area of Pressure plate and flywheel?

Default I would think any product that does not leave a film should work.

Sand the surface lightly with 250 grit sand paper in a circular motion, then clean it off with brake cleaner.

Default You can use a rougher grit than that.

I've used 60 or 80 to clean up VW flywheel. I use agree on the brake cleaner.
