Default What else can I do to max out the performance of my K04?
It's a '97 so it has the old style MAF, for those that know about the '97 MAF issues. It's running the AWE K04 bits, GIAC tuning, Borla exhaust, 5 bar FPR. It's also got the SPP FMIC.

Would larger injectors or a later version MAF help get more HP out out this. There is a later version GIAC chip that pumps out more HP and boost, but it will not work with the stock MAF on a '97.

The car is 90% track driven, so I need it to be reliable.

how about intake...i see k&n but k&n in stock box is crap

Default It has to pass california smog. No aftermarket intake.
Even if I thought an intake would add anything.

I could be wrong, but I don't think it would pass the visual with an aftermarket intake.

310cc injectors, fmic, and pc-16 giac chip. Thats a very tourqy set-up I used to have

Default unless you remove the head light or replace the headlight with something with a hole
to feed the cone filter with fresh cool air at the track.

Default port the exaust side and zero clearance the compressor side....
there was a gb for this service last year. jet should be able to give you contact info on the vendor.

Default I think that's the GIAC chip I can't run with a 97 and K04.
Unless someone knows how to work around it.

Default Why not?
Pc-16 file is for non dbw cars, Ko4'd with 310cc injectors. Should work fine with any '97 - '99.5 A4.

Default or unless you get a cf box, and then feed it through the lower grill...
ive seen it on the 30v fourm with a supercharger...maybe he'll chime in
