what kind of aftermarket exhaust can I put on an '04 A6 2.7T
I need something affordable ....I guess it is a cat back system that I need becuz dont want to change the catalytic conv....can I get something under 700....also is anyone doing any group buys...

I don't think you'll find anything new for under $700.
Just with a quick search, the only one I found was for $1111 from LLtek, and I'm not 100% sure it'd be for an '04 specifically, I'd like to call & talk to them before I bought it.

I could build my own exhaust for under $200.....
but I think he's looking for something to match the quality of his new car. Well, I'd hope so anyways. And if materials are that low, what's labor add to it?

Majic question: on what car?
He's driving an '04 A6 2.7T, which is presumably the S line and hopefully with a 6 speed. He'll need a slip on exhaust from the downpipes, then to two seperate exhaust channels, and two seperate mufflers, if he wants to cut out the center muffler element.
