Default You can recode the softcode from front drive to quattro (or for that matter auto / manual) but I

wouldn't think you can use a 01.5 CH ECU in your '00.

Default The 018 ch is for a 2001 and it wont work in a 2000 no matter what you do.

The 018P ecu is used in both the quattro and fwd cars and the ecu does not control the quattro anyway. You can recode it but it wont make much difference.

i dont think the software anything to do with the drivetrain (separate computers). the biggest problem is getting the right year. that why you have the P vs ch problem not the drivetrain.
