X-post: Almost done, but Coolant leak...Ahhh...Help
Hi guys, need your help again. I was about to start the car today, FINALLY! Then, after filling up the coolant reservoir, I noticed some drips on the ground. OK, more like a puddle! Crap! Well, after trying to trace the source, I am somewhat dumbfounded. It appears to be coming from the back of the block and dripping down onto the transmission. If you look in the Bentley, it is part #13 CONNECTOR in the Coolant Diagram for the AEB engine. It comes off the block then forks and has an electrical connection on top. I tried tightening the bottom screw, but I didn't want to strip out the Aluminum head. Does anyone know what could have caused Coolant to leak out here, and how to fix it. I just can't figure out why it is leaking, because it wasn't when I started the uninstall/install of my T3/T4b, and I haven't messed with anything back there.
Thanks for the advice.

I guess I've really done it now...
Well, I noticed that the farther I screwed in the bottom screw, the less frequent the drips came, so of course I kept going...Right up until the screw snapped. Great...I don't know what to do now. It is dripping really fast again, and now I've got part of that screw stuck up in there. This is NOT my day. Any advice for getting it out/fixing this...
Thanks

Steve, sorry this is happening to you. I really was hoping the install of my old kit would work out better for you. Not sure why that would start leaking since it isn't touched during the turbo kit install... weird. As for how to fix it, depending on the location of the hole you might be able to use an easy-out. They are made for removing snapped bolts but require you to drill a small pilot hole in the broken piece for the easy-out to screw into. You can get the easy-out from places like Orchard Supply Hardware or maybe Sears. David

Thought about it, but not sure there is room
I will see tomorrow. I know, this is turning into one big mess. But good news is the car did run today. I didn't ever put it in gear, but I turned the engine over a few times...It was quite loud and obnoxious with no exhuast past the DP though.

Here is a picture of what I am working with. I broke off the lower #12. There is not enough sticking out to pull it out. I will have to drill it out somehow. Unfortunately, there is hardly any room b/w it and the firewall. I REALLY don't want to pull the head, but don't know how else to do it. I need to find out what size and/or p/n #3 is (not the one on top, but on the side). Please help...Note: Talking about the upper right hand corner of the pic.

It is not a normal hand held drill.
Instead it is very shallow where you put the drill bit and then very long going sideways. This should allow you to get the drill and drill bit where you need it and still be able to hold the drill.
