Did you figure out if it's the lifters?

1) Oil/Filter change with Justice Bros additive.
2) Change the Spark Plugs

I started with the Oil change and it quieted down a bit but not too much. I then changed the plugs and noticed they came out relatively easily. They *might* have been loose but not enough to cause misfires in the VAG logs. RKA listened to my engine afterwards and noticed how much quieter it got.

I then went home and in my garage I could hear that chatter again. I noticed it most in the wheel well...coming from the center of the engine. I then clutched in to back the car out of the garage and noticed the chatter decreased. Sonuva...a good part of it was the clutch chatter! I am going to have a few of the guys confirm it at the next GTG. I think there was a combination of things but to me it doesn't sound like the chain tensioner...
