Default ZF TIP transmission on a 2.8 vs 2.7T

Two question:
1 - Are they the same tranmission?
2 - According to the ZF web site, they have a TIP that has a max torque load of 228 ft/lbs. Does anyone have experience with how well the ZF TIP will hold up increasing torque to about 260 ft/lbs?

Default They're different.

The S4 shares it's transmission with the A8, A6 4.2 and A6 2.7T If I recall, its a "ZF25" versus The A4's "ZF18" (Anyone remember the real numbers for these?)

People have used the A4 transmission with supercharger, and I haven't heard of any blowing up at least not in the past year I've been watching AW.
