I have been watching the video's and photo's of the NY Auto Show showing the new Q3. Another question - I do hope the US version has leather seats vs the European version without full leather seats.
Does anyone know, or do we have to wait until the summer?

The Q3 is the only vehicle in its competitive segment to offer standard heated leather seating surfaces and a standard panoramic sunroof. New available features such as Alcantara interior elements along the dashboard and door panels, S line® sport seats with contrast stitching, and customizable ambient interior lighting give Q3 buyers more interior personalization options.

I’ve been waiting for this and following news for availability and getting conflicting info; what I’ve seen on web and info shared here seem to indicate this summer - but a dealer on Friday told me that Audi just informed them it would be released here in December (which doesn’t really seem to make sense given there are no Q3’s on any dealer lot, leaving Audi nothing to sell in what seems to be the hottest competitive segment)

skr9, Mid Summer is still what I am hearing. Like you said, it's frustrating because that is a large window of time. I know you probably want a exact date. But all the released brochures, information, videos and ordering guides have it labeled as a 2019. A December release would be a 2020 model. I'm sure Audi is moving as fast as they can, everyone wants to make money. I only assume the vehicles are being built as we speak. It takes time to ship them from Hungary across the Atlantic to ports in the US and transport them to the dealers, so they have them at around same time. I'll see if I can confirm or deny the December date this week.

For what it's worth, the S-line was not that impressive. The wheel is nice but awkward for everyday driving (at least for me) and the shift paddles felt cheap (plastic). With no performance bump, I really don't see the need for the trim. The S-Line bumpers front and back are not exceptional.
The Orange Alcantara was beautiful!
