Q3 Tail lights on hatch not working
Hello, I have a 2016 Audi Q3 and for some reason the tail lights on the power hatch have stopped working? I read online that the hatch hall sensor (G525) under the flap is the problem. My car does not have that sensor. It as the power latch see pictures below. I have replaced the tail gate latch with a new one from Audi and cleaned all of the connections. I have checked all of the fuses and ran a scan which gave me this error: '2014 Sensor 1 for Trunk/Hatch Closed (G525) Open or Short to Plus'.
Any help would be most appreciated

New latch fitted from Audi.

Fixed!
Well it turns out the body shop (we had a little fender bender a few months ago) didn't wire the sensor (G525) back in correctly to the tailgate latch. As you can see from the second picture the sensor is caught in the power latch mechanism. Once the sensor is placed correctly on the underside of the silver trim piece next to the flap for the latch it all works again.
