Wheel noise + hanging tube
I own a 2012 Q3 that has never really had any major problems, besides a broken rear suspension last year.
I was on holiday for two weeks, and took the car for a drive this morning. There is a constant bumping noise that increases in frequency as I accelerate, so it must have something to do with the wheel(s). I can't properly identify the origin (whether front/rear). I had a look under the car, and there is a transparent tube hanging out out the rear-right wheel... Could it be connected to the noise? I should maybe mention that temperatures here (Belgium) have been around freezing throughout the past few weeks.
(I guess by now it is obvious I am not very knowledgeable when it comes to automotive engineering...)
Many thanks for any advice,
Mike
