Hi All,
Apologies for yet another topic on the bar. I finally got it installed, went in without too much difficulty. Do need to offload wheels now and then and one of links access is very limited.
Stock bar is a lot lighter and feels hollow. Perhaps something to consider if someone is after weight reduction.
Anyway, few questions, if you don't mind.
Has anyone experienced increase of rear road noise with it installed? I think those plastic clamp inserts do not offer much vibration/buzz dampening...
Anyone tried to install the bar using stock clamps and bushings? They don't look as cool, but they do have tons of rubber to expand over larger bar?
The bar feels pretty good, more planted. It's the turns where it shines, wish I had more seat support!![Smile](https://www.audiworld.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Do I like it, need more time. Roads are pretty cr@p here, we'll see how it behaves.
Thanks

i had them on for 2 years. they stated to rust.
AUDi service recommended that they be removed
i put the original back on and the ride is fine again
looking at them , both ends rust up up and would not move. The design looked good, but failed during usage

Hi, and thanks for the response.
Do you mean 034 bar links? When I saw them, unless I lived in dry climate or used car on the track only, they looked they will not last in normal conditions. Very narrow use in my mind. If they had some sort of boots, then maybe.
What I meant in my previous post is clamps and bushings that attach to the subframe, if I tried to use original Audi ones. Rubber bushings are so thick they should have enough compression to accommodate slightly larger bar.
