Default 10 hour old new owner question

Hello all, Wife and I just picked up our black/black Nav 09 today. On the drive home we put approx. 110 miles on the odo. The "miles to empty" never left 450 and the gas gage never moved (from full). Doesn't sound right to me...am I missing something? Thanks. LOVE the car by the way

Maybe you got the Hybrid version and drove real slow on the batteries...? :-) ...Sorry - I couldn't resist.

Check back in after another 110 miles, but sounds like a problem.

Similar issue here. On my last fill up it stayed at 495 until I turned the car off then back on then everything was fine.

On a side note, mine did the "MMI wouldn't come on" today. Tried turning the car off twice, no go. Had to do the "MMI reset" per the manual then everything was fine.

Not uncommon if you were on the highway. As the mpg climbs the fuel reading will stay the same especially on a full tank.

Thanks all...I think I may have jumped the gun a little. It has started to work as designed. I would have thought that after 100 or so miles the "miles to empty" would have changed but I guess it was still learning my driving habits.
