2 questions Shell gas and Slick 50
Winter gas is blended to control VOC's different that summer blends but currently either would contain at most 10% ethanol. Some on the internet suggest premium may contain slightly less ethanol than regular but I have no concrete proof of that.
As noted, use the correct oil (VAG 502.00) and skip the additives. You'd never need them and your Owner's Manual warns against.
I was thinking of using my local shell station as they are the closest to my house for refueling.
with Shell 91 v-power it does give me better mileage, I could constantly get 30km to 40km compare to Petro Canada 91 I used before...
also, i find Shell 91 does not darken my exhaust tip since i switched...(not sure if gas matters)...
however, i do find shell 91 v-power gives a bit more "roaring" idling sound compare to petro canada 91....
oh by the way, i have a 2013 audi q5 2.0t....
