There are several videos on the Audi website, including one on how to use the Advanced Key. I watched several of them in preparation for getting the loaner yesterday so that I would have some idea of how to operate the features in the car before I had to return it.

It's true they have some information (including the virtual cockpit), but they never answer my questions to satistfaction, which is why at least I'd like to be able to see the full manual text for things.

I hear you. When I had the car yesterday I spent a couple of hours reading the manual and trying out all of the features.

There is a separate manual for the MMI system as well.

I found the operation of the navigation system to be particularly difficult. I figure it will take me a month or two until I figure out all of the ins and outs of the car. Now that I had the for a day and am now back to waiting for my actual car to come in, it is sort of maddening!

I ordered a 3.0T on September 4 in Los Angeles and my most recent enquiry showed that they have not yet started building the car and it does not have a VIN number assigned yet. The expected delivery date is "around December". The sales guy also stated that my car is the only 3.0 on order in the whole of California.

It does seem strange especially in the light that there are no 3.0T fuel consumption numbers available on the Audi web site yet.

Is there anyone else in California who ordered a 3.0, and do you have a different experience?

Our salesman just placed our order for a 2.0T Premium plus today! Build week is showing as 50 (12/10/12). Getting the Q5 for the wife, it's going to look great in the garage next to my 2010 A4. Unfortunately, we couldn't find a Q5 out there with the exact combination of options we want. We elected to not go with nav, and really liked the aluminum inlays over wood. Hoping for a delivery date around the middle of January!
