my dealer never responds with definite answer...most of the times they just give me a vague answer, when i asked them the estimated delivery date, the answer i got was end of October and when i asked for a detailed report 2 days back but no answer from them until now, is it just me who is having these issues or are most of the dealers like this?

No, you're not the only one. I had a frank conversation with my dealer 2 days ago who believes that Audi still has too many 3.2s in the system and they (Audi) are concerned that once the 3.0s hit the lots, sales of the 3.2 will be neutered.

There were a couple other dates that I forgot to include. Order date was July 31 and release to manufacturer was August 14.

Just received an unsolicted call from the dealer. Actual production is 41, 2012 (Oct 8). Should be at the dealer the 1st week of December.

we ordered our 2.0T in mid August and have delivery date of early november. 2013s are in production now. our order was basically customer spec of one of the first allocation vehicles to the dealer.

there was an overproduction of 3.2s and some were being sent to the dealer early this month.

this car has been a hit for audi. it is a league above even the new X3 in execution.

Hey RXBG, could you post the details and dates from your order status? What's your build date like?

build week is 37 (this week) but went into production late last week so it is ahead of schedule a bit. ETA to our east coast dealer is first week november or earlier. i will get the ship info and do the ship tracker once it's ship loaded.

Awesome, congratulations! One last question - what are your color choices (interior and exterior) and options like? Also, what were your Order Entry and Release to Manuf. dates?

I'm trying to find a pattern to see if any particular interior/exterior color choices or options might be getting delayed, and how your dates compare with the rest of us.
