2013 Q5 Steering Resistance
Hi guys,
So, recently my 2013 Q5 has had some steering problems. When turning the wheel past the 1 and the 11 o'clock positions when either turning left or right and back straight, there seems to be quite a bit of resistance. This happens at all types of speed and when in any driving mode.
I believe that the steering is electronically assisted.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance

Quick update, just now, it seems that the resistance happens twice per rotation of the steering wheel.
When turning left, it happens when the top of the steering wheel is at the 11 and 5 o’clock positions.
When turning right, it happens when the top of the steering wheel is at the 1 and 7 o’clock positions

My problem was sorted out after coding steering wheel response and recoding from auto to comfort.
one can also install ADS or if you have the Mmi GPS screen you can make this selection from screen after enabling the secret menu.
Check how to enable ADS coding with mmi.
