The only thing I’d recommend is every so often to go full out on the throttle on a fully warmed up engine for about 10 seconds. I do it at least once every time I drive, usually pulling onto the freeway in manual mode. I also, always, use diesel additive for lubricity and cetane boost. That said, if you do neither of these things, Audi is still required to pay for your O2 sensors, lol.

There are reports of a few of the post fix cars being bought back under the lemon law.

I have a 2016 Q5 TDI, which I love. I purchased it brand new almost a year ago. June 30, 2018) Within 3,000 miles (Sept 2018 )my check engine light came on and it was the 02 Sensor. I have had 2 more check engine lights all 02 sensors. Last month they replaced the turbo charger and did the 15,000 mile service. I drove out of the dealership at 2:15pm and the following day started up my car at 9:15am and the check engine light went on. Brought it in to the dealership and guess what it was? 02 sensor again. All the work was done at the Audi dealership. Technically it is a lemon now and AofA contacted me yesterday regarding buyback. I have also gotten a lawyer. Anyone have any experience with this and any suggestions?

Take a look at this thread over at the TDi Club forum.

Is this the first 3.0L TDI Gen 2 buyback, potentially? - TDIClub Forums

I owned my Touareg 7 years, drove it 72K mikes, and VW bought it back for $48K, just $6K less than I paid. If your vehicle qualifies, pursue a buyback and find another car to love, preferably one that doesn’t send you back to the dealer every other week.

My engine light came on last week. Scan shows errors for a oxygen sensor. Have to make appointment. This is the third time for me since TDI fix.
