I liked the TDI gas milage and the way the engine drove… unfortunately in the US it doesn't come with the S-line bumpers like the 3.0 TFSI does. So to get the bumper upgrade you need to get the S-line plus… which is fine… I just am not a fan of the black optics (titanium wheels, black grill, black roof rails, blacked out chrome around the windows). My biggest issues with the black optics is the black grill looks cheap. It's flat black plastic from of the 2.0T style grill.
I personally like the black out package.
I saw this earlier today, where someone started adding Chrome to their Q5, which looks horrible(IMO).
Which looks pretty bad..
thanks for your review. Did you see the S-Line Package on the TDI in person? The Audi brochure says "Black Optic" and it seems that a full all-flat black grill would be a deviation from what they've done in the past. Hopefully at least the grill surround is gloss. Anyone have a good closeup picture?

A few months ago we were visiting in a huge retirement community in central Florida and saw these chrome trim pieces everywhere! They were on all types of cars suv's/cuv's even mini vans. For some reason it must be a big (unfortunate) trend.

When I had initially talked with my dealership, they said 2.9% APR was the best they could do at that moment. They said, if the rate changed within 30 days of us taking delivery they could offer me the lower rate. After emailing my dealership yesterday after you guys mentioned lower rates, they called me back today. They just let me know that 1.9% APR is available for me now. Thanks guys.

Thanks for posting those pictures. Black/Titanium S-Line package looks amazing. What a difference. S-Line+ is a must on the TDI
