I love my Passat!
The Passat is the daily driver.
the Q5 will be the family/wife’s car.
I also have a Tiguan R-line.
With all the Audi/VW’s I have owned I’ve never purchased the Ross tech VCDS.
I started doing research and there is so much I don’t know where to start.
I plan on doing my own basic maintenance, not anything too involved. At first!
Any tips on where to start?
Also, I’m looking for the hitch cover for the Q5.
It’s the only thing missing. Dealer has one but it’s $250. I think I have to cut it too.
I’m getting the front door windows tinted Saturday.
Thanks for all the replies!

someone else posted above, but to clarify
- rattling sunroof - learn to live with it, even if it goes away it will be short term and come back
- Control arms, bushes, etc, the whole front end will need the arms and bushes done eventually, if you can use a ratchet and a hammer you will be able to DIY.

Very nice grab on the Q5! I just purchased the VCDS and "auto scanned" my car yesterday and found a faulty left, rear, mid subwoofer was shot that I didn't know about. That scanner is a godsend for the amount of info it provides. Also, my sunroof was creaking and I found some "slick honey" that I use on my mtb forks and worked a treat. nice and quiet now. just ran my finger down the rails and packed the hinges.
