Default Anyone Have the Ventilated Seats?

I'm wondering if it is worth the extra money to pay for a 3.0T Prestige with the "comfort package" just to get ventilated seats? In 2012 it was part of the 3.2 Prestige with the "luxury package." Does the air go through the backrest, or just the seat bottom? I think this is a great feature, but is it worth it?

I have a 2012 with the luxury package, and I couldn't be happier. The air is pulled through the seat back, and the seat bottom. There are 6 fan speed settings. On level 6 one can hear the fans roaring inside the seats, but it's nothing too distracting, and I find they work quite well. On initial start-up inside a hot car, they aren't terribly effective, but once the cabin air begins to cool down, their effect is immediately noticeable. I tend to leave my seat on 3 or 4, and it is noticeable it's working, but I can't hear the fans.

The ventilated seats were a bonus feature, since I bought the luxury package to have the additional leather pieces, and to have seats that were 100% covered in leather, instead of "leather seating surfaces." Having everything, including the armrests, in the vehicle being leather makes it feel more complete.

If Audi would intentionally unbalance those fan motors, you could have MAGIC FINGERS!

Stop calling him elevens and call him quarters !!!!!!!!!!!!!

I forgot I wanted ventilated seats when getting the wife's Q and I miss it...
Even my ford truck has it and in the DFW area it is almost required !

Other day had a friend who hadn't been in the truck before and I turned it on his seat and after a while he exclaimed dang - I thought I had peed in my pants it was so cool

I get enough air blown up my a** everyday at work. The last thing I need is to also get it on the way home.

I tried the ventilated seats on a Q5 in the showroom and I was disappointed to say the least. Based on that experience this is not an option I would pay for.

If you want to keep your seats cool, park in a garage or under a tree when possible.
