Has anyone had to have this service completed on their 3.2 V6? How long did it take?

I wonder if effected owners would be better off waiting a while to have the procedure done. This would give the techs some time to get familiar with what needs to be done and develop a good process to do it.

Will audi Canada send me a mail regarding this issue if I recently just bought a pre owned Q5? I've not had this problem but worried I might. Thanks

This has 0 impact on performance just emission. This is used only on cold starts for emissions and could be disabled all together, some tuners supposedly disable it. It will throw the engine light out and this is how you will know, nothing else.

Performance will be affected if you have a carbon buildup on the valves. So far I have seen some valves on the 3.0T at 60K with a very minimal carbon buildup. Supercharger may have something to do with that.

They remove the whole engine, then cleaned up the secondary port.

No real power difference. But the check engine light is gone.

They don't have to do that anymore. They have some high pressure water system to clean it up these days. Still have to take a lot of front end off.
