and some other bits and pieces (brackets bolts etc)

I am not installing because part diagrams say >>25.5.2009 and my Q5 was made a month before. so it is risky. Unless I can find the kit for 200 max.

I don't suppose anyone can pull the same wire diagram for the A4/S4 B8 8K? I'm looking to add the switch in the driver's door but think A4s to Q5 sometimes differ on wiring?
Also was it just a case of cutting a hole in the door card for the switch surround to drop into or more involved than that?
