Default Cargo Net

The cargo net was included when I purchased my S4. According to my dealer the Q5 doesn't come with a cargo net. Is this correct? Did any of you receive a cargo net as standard equipment or did you need to purchase it separately? The cargo net that I'm referring to is the one that would basically land flat and attach to the clips on the floor.

Thanks

It's not included. My dealer was nice enough to tell me to grab whatever I wanted from the A4 we traded in, so I grabbed the net and first aid kit. I'm glad I did because the net has been invaluable in keeping stuff from jostling around, especially since the Q5 doesn't have the bag hooks. The hooks would have been great if they were attached to the privacy cover.

No net, no pen, no extras with our Q5, just a great price !

but I did have a few nets from previous vehicles that I put in the side pocket, but haven't used yet...

IIRC hawke, isn't there a bag hook on the drivers side panel near the front of the rear cargo area ?!?

No net on the Q5, but did get a net on the A4. Weird how they decide stuff like this. Our Q5 have the bag hooks too.

I don't have a picture, but my Q5 has 2 hooks in the "back" (closer to back seats) of the trunk. Just searched google images for it and some Q5s have them and some don't.. maybe they added them in 2011.

I have the hook on the side too. What I was referring to are the fold-down hooks in the trunk of the A4. They were great for hanging plastic grocery bags, especially eggs or anything fragile. Obviously, this cannot be done on the Q5, but it would have been nice to have the hooks on the hard privacy cover. I know the hook kit is sold separately, but I'm not sure if it would be possible to jury rig it to the privacy cover.
