Default Cigarette Lighter Cover

Since we don't use the ashtray or lighter, I removed them from our 2013 P+. I like the little storage area instead of the ashtray, but I don't like having the cigarette lighter/12v outlet empty. I don't want any chances of dust, dirt, etc to collect.

Any suggestions on caps or covers? And where I can find them?

My 1st replacement would be a USB charger ... Is there enough room in the ashtray?

Many places charge $20 for them. I have one in my DD that's lasted 16 months. For $3 toss it if it goes bad.

Home Depot usually has aluminum body lighter flashlights for under $5 also. Easier than having them shipped from China. I picked up several for stocking stuffers.

Good point, will keep it in mind for the future. I have a OEM VW one that I got with my Jetta back in 2005 and kept it when I got rid of the car earlier this year. Still works

I bought 3 of these last night for my Q and my wife's car.

The 2.1 amp one will let you charge Kindle, iPad, etc, or your smart phone a lot faster than the 1 amp port.
