Closing power lift-gate without button?
Is there a way to close the power lift-gate without using the button on the gate itself?
In other words, can someone in the driver's seat close the power life-gate?

I was in a discussion with others about this and it came down to it being explained as a 'safety-issue' in that if you were able to close the lift-gate from the drivers seat position you CANNOT completely see what is going on back there; so again a safety point to have to be standing at the back to press the button and have it close.
in case of emergency issues you can, with force, close the lift-gate by hand but I don't think that is what you are looking for.
