Code P10A4
What is the P10A4 Code on a 2013 Audi Q5 3.0T. The engine runs fine, mechanic found a plastic bag in a flap somewhere on the car which he says usually throws that code, He took bag out reset it and code came back after 30+ miles. Any Idea what what else it can be?

Plastic bag? Really? A plastic bag should not be getting anywhere in the intake other than perhaps the air-box where the air filter would stop it. Even that is unlikely since it has to get through the grille, snow screen, etc. The code seems like it could be related to intake runner flaps or the bypass valve, again if a plastic bag got into either of those I would be very surprised, unless you ran the car without the air filter for a while. I guess you'll know for sure if the code comes back as the chances of another "plastic bag issue" should be zero.

Was this your regular mechanic? does that shop/mechanic know or specialise in Audi's? I find it hard to believe that a plastic bag made it anywhere in the car. It sounds like they had no idea what caused the code and ended up clearing it. and right around the 30 mile mark is when the ECU has relearned most values and will throw any pending codes.
