Yoshimura You're in Quebec as am I.Give your head a shake right now. Some cars look really nice in black.I've had two, Mazda and a Subaru.I'm fastidious with washing waxing and all that stuff.2years and you'll regret your choice.Good winter beater though !

You see so many white, black, gray, and silver Audis that it is nice to see one with some actual color. I love my sepang blue SQ5 and I don't think dirt shows as bad as black, white, or gray.

Default Going on 4 years with my Daytona A6 TDI

I ordered my Daytona Gray 2014 A6 TDI with black optics about 4 years ago and took delivery in early September 2013. I'd had white, black, silver, red, and many other colored cars over my 45 years of car ownership, but only one other gray one (a 2010 A4 Avant in a lighter gray). 4 years later, I'm still incredibly happy with my decision. When filthy (with afternoon thunderstorms and sloppy roads for weeks at a time its hard to keep it clean sometimes) the color never looks as dirty as it really is. When cleaned up the pearl paint just glows. It's striking and I get tons of compliments even after all this time...and I still turn to look at it in the parking lot as I walk away.

I had a Daytona Grey R8 and it hides the grim fairly well. However, the prize after a solid wash is definitely worth it. The pearl effects simply pop out!

For my next Audi, I would definitely opt for a Pearl or Crystal effect type paint.

My current SQ is Daytona Grey, and I have not been disappointed. Dirt definitely isn't as obvious as the Phantom Black on my previous S4, and the DGr looks pretty slick when washed/waxed. I do miss the Phantom Black pearl but keeping it clean 24/7 wasn't realistic here in the midwest.

I have a 2016 SQ5 in Daytona Gray Pearl and just love the color. Doesn't show dirt like my metallic black Fiat 500 or metallic dark blue Mercedes. When its clean, the way it shines and shows hues of blue and sometimes green is just beautiful. I still get compliments on the car when I'm putting gas in or at grocery store.

Nice Lookin' ride. I'm thinking my next one will be Daytona or another red. The new red looks pretty nice. My '14 Volcano Red has aged very well, and it hides dirt well.
