More generally, I hope the aftermarket guys start getting behind the Q5 more, in all its flavors, as a primary source of business (with related expertise) since it has passed the A4 sales wise.
If you can't eyeball in there well enough to be sure, then clean out one hole, blow a little talc in it, and press in a stick of play-doh or modeling clay to take a quick impression of the bottom. The talc should allow it to pull out cleanly, just make sure to clean out the hole again before putting a bolt back in.
Wheel bolts are the kind of thing that can kill you, it pays to make Real Damn Sure you are using the right ones, not just something that can be fitted and torqued. After they thermal cycle from hard braking on a cold winter day...would you want to be that the wrong bolts would still be holding right?
Squint, or figure out a way to take an impression, if the makers can't agree on exactly what the wheel needs.
