Default European blindspot mirrors, who has them installed?

I used to have the European blind spot mirrors on my Golf and loved them. I have found them on ECS tuning for the [S]Q5 and I was wondering if anybody has them on their [S]Q5?

Here are the links to the left and right mirrors, but they won't be shipping until January. :-(

I would expect someone who rides a cycle to turn their head while inside their car. I never depend on the mirrors on or off my cycle.

Believe me, my head is all over when driving, but once you have experienced these mirrors, the crappy US DOT approved mirrors are second rate. I just have never put them on a Q5, on my Golf I loved them. I am looking for feedback from somebody that has made the leap to give me their honest opinion, that is it.

I've been using that mirror setup in my vehicles for years, and works very well.

I have them. Got them from ECS. I fitted the double convex mirrors to:
2003 BMW 330 Cheapest was was to buy the mirrors in the UK while on vacation.
2008 GTI. from one of the aftermarket suppliers in the US
2013 M-B B250 From an aftermarket M-B place in Holland, no US place sold/sells B-class stuff as the car is not sold in the US
2014 Q5.

On our other assorted vehicles over the years I have always used the C&D method. The combination of a flat inside mirror for accurate distance and the curved outside mirrors for position is the best combination, better I think than assorted flashing LEDs and beeps that many cars seem to have now...as the USA insists on a flat drivers side mirror...which means that Canada does as well.

I'll try this method and hopefully will trash those tiny convex mirrors that I got from walmart

Yes, I knew that before buying. As Spijun says there are dimmable ones and I also knew the dimmable ones could be found although I have been told they are very expensive.

I find that I prefer the outside mirrors to not dim. I keep them turned out in the C&D position anyway.

There seem to be more and more new cars that have a drivers side mirror that is mostly flat to satisfy the regulations with a built in convex piece at the top left corner.
