Fast scroll in MMI ( Music)

Fast scroll in MMI ( Music)
Heya All,
So as I was scrolling through my ipod connected song list searching for a specific song - and I wasn't very forward thinking but the folder I was in is HUGE and it's quite allot to scroll through.
So my ? ... when I am in a specific folder and spin the **** quickly it goes into a 'fast scrolling' (not sure that's a technical term or not) but I feel like I am going to rip the **** right off doing this.
Does anyone know a simpler way to access this 'faster' mode?
Is there a 'press this button and do this' option for it?

Anyone ever figure this one out? I am having the same issue (scrolling through artists on iPod)> I have never been able to engage the "fast scroll" you describe, nor find the "hidden menu" that rs4-380 describes.

There is a fast scrolling mode that brings up a vertical scroll bar and allows you to skip through large sections of the list and go to certain letters of the alphabet. The MMI does this when you give the wheel a couple of quick turns. I couldn't find a screenshot of this online so I took a crude picture with my phone.

Does anyone know how to fast scroll through a long list of songs on a 2021 Q3? No dual screen/wheel/writing capability. Other systems bring up an alphabet list...makes finding a particular song so much easier.
