Default Good Deal on a Q5?

I am looking at a Audi New 2016 Q5 2.0T Premium + w/ Tech Package. This has B&O sound, side-assist, back up cam, audi-connect, and Google NAV.

The MSRP is typically 49K.

The dealer is offering 6K off, putting me at 43.25K
I am going to low ball at 41.5K and take it from there

Is this is a good deal?

It is locational. I am in Alexandria, VA, 5 miles from DC. Lots of competition here.

I bought a 2016 3.0T Premium Plus for $46K recently, MSRP $52.

I was looking at a 2016 2.0T outfitted like yours and they offered it at $39,900.

I would wait for the new gen q5. You're buying an effectively 8 year old design/tech, albeit with some slight updates since it came out. Value will drop quickly.

Yes it seems. Got offer of 43.5 as final for q5 premium plus myths black with rear airbag.
However I find lease as better offer as buyout approach:
504 p/m emi for 36 months, 3500 down payment and 26000 to pay at the end of lease if want to buy. Total: 47644 out f door price.(7% tax included).

I closed on a lease Price @ 44K and additional rebate of $1250 .
CA tax is 9%.

Q5 P+, Tech Package , and Premium Wheels.

Monthly 480.

Traded in old car for 4K. I was desperate to get rid of it.
Sales guy threw in mats + 200 dollar dealership credit for Audi shop.

Maybe, maybe not. It will be a first year high tech vehicle, built in a brand new factory in Mexico. I figure it will be at least two years before the resale takes a major hit, depending on how the new vehicle come out.

new model design in a new factory; not for me Thank you. I would never buy the first release of any product be it a car model S/W operating system or any high tech device. Let others cut their teach on the new product and let know find and fix the issue. wait until year 2 or 3.

I've bought several new model cars and never experienced a major issue. Waiting 2/3 years isn't an option for me as I have absolutely no fear of any major problem with a new car from a new factory. Sure, there may be small issues but there are still issues now on the Q5 after 8 years!
