The Audi rear seat cover was too slippery for my dog.

I just found a good and cheap solution altough it does not cover the floor, which is not a problem for us since our dog always wears a harness and seat belt (safety first!).

I bought a grey yoga mat and then trimmed it to fit the back seat. Hair sticks to the mat and it rolls up nicely for easy storage.

Sorry to hijack the thread. Those with dogs. Is there room enough in the cargo area? Our chocolate lab rides comfortably in the back of my ML and even more comfortably in the backseat of the E350 (with a hammock type seat cover). Also, hoping the load floor is a little lower on the Q5. I have a TwistStep (sp?) mounted to the hitch so she can get in. She's not a jumper and we don't encourage it. Loving the Q5 on paper as a nice alternative. Thanks for your help.

My 70 pound Boxer does fine on the back seat, though we've never had her in the cargo area as you are considering.

i can fit my 3 labs in the cargo area of my q5 no problem. longest road trip was 2 hours with them and they were fine.
