Horrible money factors

Same. Audi leases have been awful for years. I just put down enough so I'll have equity at every point in the 60 mo, and financed the balance at 2.09%.

Pretty much the same story for me...the lease money factor worked out to be equal to 6% and I just wouldn't do that so I scraped together a bigger down payment and financed at my credit union for 1.85% I got pre approved and went into negotiations with cash in hand, which is a pretty potent bargaining tool. It takes that financing card out of the dealership's hand and they know you are a serious buyer. I highly recommend the practice for anybody shopping for a car.

I'm at 500 over invoice on price (with either lease or buy), figured that's about as low as I'm going to get on a custom built 2015. Anyone hear of any better deals? Or acquire one themselves firsthand?

I got a dealer savings of 4% off MSRP. Not sure how that applies to invoice. Couldn't do any better, talked to three different dealers in Alabama and finally realized that if I wanted a Q5, that was the best deal I was going to get. Had to order 2015 to get that. Not much discount on Q5 in Central Alabama.
