Interesting:
Port of Houston now says Cougar Ace due in on Nov 17. Yesterday, stated due in on Nov 14!! Ship now in at Davisville RI. Has not changed over the last few days.
Dealer originally told me to expect ship to arrive in Houston on the 17th. Wonder why Houston previously posted the 14th??
I assume CA will depart Davisville today. Thus, must take 7 days to get to Houston-don't think it has another stop!

It probably said the 14th because that was when it was originally supposed to be there. The Cougar Ace left Germany 3 days late. It was suppose to be at Davisville 11/8 originally, but because it left 3 days late, it showed up there today, 11/11. Below is the itinerary for the Cougar Ace, as retrieved from the ship's management company.

My dealer called yesterday, stating that my Q5 was due to arrive in port (Davisville) the week of Nov. 18. I'm hoping it is on the Cougar Ace and may show up in Maryland before Thanksgiving!

Well, it looks like Cougar Ace is due to arrive (dock) in Houston on Nov 16 late evening (ship is currently out of receiving range).
I understand that once the vehicles are offloaded, they may take 3 days to clear customs before they are loaded for transport to their ultimate destination.
If that destination is the Chicago area, any info on the carrier (rail/road transport) stops & timing??
I'm not aware of any method to track!

Our TT arrived in Houston on Tuesday 9/6. It was delivered to the dealer on Thursday 9/15 and was ready for delivery the following day. They said this is typical.

The Thanksgiving holiday might slow things down a bit, however. If the Cougar Ace arrives in Houston on the 15th or 16th, I am figuring 2 more weeks before my Q5 makes it up here.

Chicago would probably take a couple of days longer. Figure the last week of November.
