Has anyone noticed that their driver's seat has loosened after a few thousand miles? Since about 2,000 miles or so, I've noticed slight movement every time I start and stop my 2010 Q5. This is accompanied by a creaking sound in both the seat and back that feels and sounds like the heater elements or something are shifting around. It's not loud, just annoying. The dealer replaced the seat track and base but that made no difference. One of the technicians said I should expect some movement in a power seat. but I've never noticed this problem in any other car I've driven, even cheap rentals. I love this vehicle - but I feel my $40k + should have at least bought me quiet, well anchored seats.

Nope, at 20,000+ miles, the seat is solid and quiet. No movement either. Maybe a different dealer is in order?

I have 20 000Km on my Q5 and I am starting to have the same issue as you. I do not heard anything however but everytime I stop, start or hard corner, I can feel the seat moving a tiny bit. It is starting to annoy me. I will wait for my next service trip and ask my dealer to look into this.
