Outside temp sensor shot?
For the past few days, the car has been indicating that the outside temperature is in high 50s while in reality it's been in the 20s and 30s here. Do I need a new outside temp sensor or is there something else going on?
Thanks!

Probably. I had thermistors go bad on my HVAC equipment a few times, so it might be very possible it is that simple of a problem. Not sure where it is located, but if Spijun is reading I am sure he will give us a part number and diagram.

Obviously not right, but these have been around on Audis since 80's and failure rate seems low. Before changing out as a logical step, maybe just look at your grill area in general--wherever exactly it is located on a Q5. Anything stuck in that area, anything broken or dislodged, etc.? The sensor is always forward in the airstream to avoid engine heat fake outs, but other things can interfere, shrouds dislocated, chin hits, etc.

See if any clue from this diagram--part 28, down low in extra cooler (intercooler?) area? At least where they seemed to paste it into the parts diagram. On my various C and D bodies, it always seems to be higher up (like behind 4 rings area of grill), so surprised to see it shown apparently low down here.

Try some WD-40
I had a similar problem a couple weeks ago (reading 80 when i t was really 45) during a rainstorm. Parked in garage overnight then hit it with some WD-40. Has worked fine since then.
