Pano Roof stopped working
The Pano roof was working fine. Didn't even squeak. Suddenly stopped working. The sunscreen still operates but the pano roof does not. The know is turned all the way, nothing, no sounds or whirring.
Any ideas on this?
Thanks all.

Not yet. I will check later. Perhaps separate fuse for sunscreen and sunroof. I checked the manual, thinking there was some sort of locking mechanism, but none found.

Run a VCDS scan. Clearing a fault(s) may fix. Could be a connector needs cleaning.

I checked the 20A fuse, but it was good. I have to bring the car to the dealer for a recall, so I will have them look at the non functioning Pano roof. The good news is that my Pano roof doesn't squeak.

My frame was replaced in 3 year of ownership. Now at Year 5, it is squeaking again. I do the open / close cycle and its quiet for a while. Really don't use the sunroof. Soon it will be silicone glued shut permanently.

My wife took the Q5 in to the dealer today. This is our first Audi and we bought it used, so this was a new experience for us. They were to take care of a recall and to take a look at the Pano roof. They had no loaner for my wife, so she waited at the dealer for almost 3 hours while the service was done. They charged $95 to do a diagnostic on the roof. (warranty coverage expired at 50,000 miles). The tech said it was just needing a reset. They did the reset and all is fine with roof now.
So, how is this magical reset done? I would like to resolve this myself if it happens in the future.
