Price check for ordered 2012
I am thinking about a replacement for my 2001 S4. With 246,000 miles I am facing some suspension repairs that make me wonder if it is time to put him out to stud.
My only gripe with the S4 was the lack of clearance. Living in Maine means a solid 6 months of winter. I live in a rural part of a rural state and travel 120mi round trip every day to work, plus trip up to the mountains for skiing. I think the Q5 would be a wonderful tool for that kind of driving.
I do not mind waiting for a vehicle. I ordered my first Audi, a '99 A4, and it worked great.
So I am wondering what kind of deals people are getting on ordered vehicles. I think I paid $500 over some sort of invoice number with the A4.
I think I would also be eligible for the loyalty discount, though I am not sure what the amount would be.
Appreciate your thoughts.

Most dealers will deal a little on an order, depending on your area.
The good news is that loyalty incentive is currently $1500 on the Q5 if you currently own a 2001 or newer Audi, so you're good there. The bad news is that it's set to expire on the 4th of January, 2012. A Q5 ordered now wouldn't be here by then unless they were able to match you with one that's already built and in transit.
The Q5 is selling so well that they don't really need to renew the loyalty incentive. But I think it would be somewhat short-sighted not to. It definitely creates brand loyalty.
