The ATF looked pretty good, said the tech. I chose not to do filter because it added a lot more time and the filter wasn’t cheap. In all I think it was another $200. I am not exactly sure if that was the exact cost but it was something like that. I do not know the procedure, sorry.

this is for drain and fill with new filter, and probably enough ATF left to do another drain/fill, which will replace about 2/3 of the fluid.

Not sure of the maintenance mileage interval for diffs, but it’s preventive maintenance while they’re servicing drivetrain.

I am about do a full transmission fluid change, to include OEM Filter and gasket. plus replace the fill and drain plug. The reason is because my trans harness o-ring is leaking so I am going to replace the two orings, so I have to drop the pan to do it. Parts are $450 from FCP EURO using OEM parts not OE and Lifeguard 8 fluid (9L). I have a 09(6Spd trans) with 150K.

I got a quote from local Audi dealer in Lex , Ky ( but says it’s a lifetime sealed transmission Reccrmend’s leave it alone.) to drop pan and put in new bolts and oil and filter and gasket , is 2500. Cause it takes a special tool for the transmission,. 1500 just for flush.
I have a 2012 A8L Quattro 4.2 FSI 8 speed auto transmission with Tiptronic
