Ordered the wife an S-Line Q5 the week after xmas. They are saying it should be here around April 5th. My RS4 took right around 3 months also.

The mark up on the Q5 is so small that it’s hard to negotiate much off MSRP, couple that with high demand and it’s almost impossible to negotiate anything. We had the Audi loyalty incentive when we bought our Q5, so we got a great price.

Just got my VIN and conformation that my Q5 is on the water and I will be driving it in a few weeks!!! Woohoo!!!

Ordered on DEC 4.

Because I am a US citizen and I intend to bring my Q5 back to the States someday. So, it must be US spec. Also, paying $50k tax-free is a lot less than spending 50-70k in euros!

So here's a question. Did or do you like the euro spec Q5 more than the US spec? Or do you prefer the US spec Q5?

Ordered mine on Dec 8th. Still waiting for a VIN. But then again, my dealer screwed up the order. It was initially put into system as a regular US order. Gary got involved and fixed it. But I'm sure it bumped up my delivery time.
