Rattles and squeaks
My first Audi. There's a lot to like....I especially like the way it looks and what happens when you floor it in sport mode. However, there are just way too many buzzes, squeaks and rattles for a vehicle that costs this much. This platform has been in production for years, there is just no excuse. I have a 1966 Mustang, a 1999 Ford Explorer with 130k, a 2004 Lincoln Aviator with 199k, and a 2006 BMW 650 with 57K and they all have less annoying buzzes, squeaks and rattles than the 2016 Audi with less than 10K on it. I know, take it to the dealer and have them chase them around for a few days. What a needless hassle.....

Perhaps that is next. The worst one is the front dash in the glovebox / A pillar area. Can't really find it and have already tried the fuse box door tricks . 2nd worst seems to be coming from rear passenger side seatbelt / door area. I've already done the electrical tape over the rear seat fold down clasp as detailed in a post here and that wasn't it. Just so surprising and frustrating that a new Audi has these problems.

I'm really sensitive to noises, and was really happy until around 15-20k, but then various pops and rattles started coming from everywhere. Winter time is worst. I tried various fixes suggested on the forums as well as resolving some through warranty, but these kind of issues are intermittent and difficult to pinpoint, so don't want to go through the hassle any more. The SQ is my 4th Audi and most likely my last. If Audi managed to produce this kind of quality in Germany, just imagine a new model from Mexico.
