Rear loud clunk in low speed (0-25 km/h)
Car: Audi SQ5 2014 8R
Hi, I am having a loud clunk at low speeds (0-25 km/h), it happens when braking or accelerating also when changing gear, it only happens at low speeds, after 35 km+ everything is fine no clunk at all.
I checked gearbox and no faults, changed gearbox oil and differential oil. I changed driveshaft, motor mounts, gearbox mount and differential mount, after replacing the differential mount the clunk became even louder. The clunk seems to come exactly below differential at the differential mount, the bold there moves when power shifts causing a void.
The clunk can also be heard when shifting from R to D, i uploaded a video here, (you can see the differential and mount moving and can hear the clunk) - https://streamable.com/cllzc8

Take a look at the sway bar bushings both front and rear. When they age, the bars tend to stick in them and as you turn or otherwise excercise the anti roll bars the break loose. This can be somewhat intermittent......if they are wet for instance, they might slip easier.
If it's fairly consistent, then spray some WD-40 in each and see if it goes away.
They are cheap and easily replaces in any event.
