Simple Q: How can I tell my Head lights are on?

Telate: Thanks for the picture - it clears things up. I know the green light is universal for tail lights, but the red light is a little confusing because it looks like the "high beam" light on some other cars. I assume it just means headlight on our Q5.

Finally remembered to take a picture. Notice the green and red light after the "Auto"; this is when the headlights are on. When they are off, only the Auto is lit up and the other two are not coloured. I like this subtle look better than a bright light in your face on the cluster like most cars have.
High beams are usually blue not red. Also, I believe the lines face horizontal instead of down.
