Planning on ordering a 2016 SQ5 next month.

I have narrowed the color down to Volcano Red or Sepang Blue, B&O, Nappa Leather, technology, carbon fiber inlays however I am stuck on the rims.

The 21 ultimately will cost how much extra $850 for the initial cost. Spare 20 inch rims with winter tires will cost about $1700 or more. Lets include one Replacement set of tires. So for the 21 inch is costs about $400 versus $200 for the 20 inch.

So for the 21 inch $850 + $1700 + $1600 = $4150

Same for the 20 inch
$800+ $800 =1600

So the cost over 4 years will be about $2600 extra for the 21 inch rims.

Next how easy is it to bend the 21 inch rims with pot holes, I live in chicago and have bent a few of the rims with current my car.

If you live in Chicago you will need winter tires. The standard 20 inch wheel still comes with summer only tires. You could mount 20 inch snows each winter but you will have to factor in the mount and balance fee twice a year. I would go with the 21 inch option. (I did). I have a set of 20 inch snows from Hartmann but you could even go with 19inch and open up your selection even more. Running the 21's in the summer you should not have to worry about to many pot holes.

Where did you get your hartmann's about how much were they?
