Interesting that the highway value's so much lower. I guess maybe the Cd really is 0.36 vs. 0.33 for the regular Q5....

Many 2014s aren't up on fueleconomy.gov currently anyway, even the ones we've known about for a while (like the Q5 TDI). Not sure how often they update and how recently Audi sent the estimate to the EPA for approval.

So 16/23 (19) for the SQ5 and 18/26 (21) for the Q5 3.0T. That is quite the difference - OMG!
Those Cd differences shouldn't affect "city" by 2 mpg, so presumably it's all in the tuning/gearing/gear selection/etc that's sucking down the fuel. Maybe the heavier standard wheels too? Oh wait, that gets included in Cd, right? It's not just aerodynamics, but any resistance that would slow a car from speed.
Also, WTF happened to Edmunds.com? I guess they are trying to be more phone/tablet friendly?

SQ5 price
I priced up an SQ5 yesterday (premium, estoril blue, napa leather, MMI and B&O stereo) and it looks like the dealer is willing to go 4.5% off MSRP. I think it sounds like a good deal but wanted to get some input from others.

However, I don't think many people will be buying the SQ5 for its fuel efficiency. It does make another compelling argument for the biturbo TDI though.

Yeah, but still strange/boggling that we sometimes first find out the MPG when one of these cars arrives at a dealership and we read the window sticker. You'd think it should be able to be obtained prior to that from some other means (audiusa.com, edmunds, EPA site, PIB, articles, etc)
