SQ5 (US Version) recall campaign, already?
I took delivery of my SQ5 on Saturday. This morning my dealer called to inform me that there is a recall campaign for the SQ5 that will take about an hour and a half. Any other SQ5 owners familiar with this recall? He did not give me specifics on what is being fixed.

I spoke with the dealer. He said it is a throttle body software update. They are taking it in next Monday. They said it is not an urgent issue and the car can be driven.

I just got on the live chat on Audi USA, gave my VIN, and this was the reply. Fellow SQ5 owners, let's share the feedback from our respective dealers:
I do see something for the manifold actuator, however, it does not specify to me whether it is a recall, update, or bulletin. I would reccomend contacting the service department at your Dealer. They will have more information than I would regarding this.

This recall is for all 3.0 engines and is the intake manifold flap. They found they disintegrated over time. Not unique to the SQ5.

It pertains to all 3.0TFSI engines. I saw the TSB sitting on a desk at the dealership yesterday. Something about the bladder rupturing and causing the intake flaps to stop working and throw a check engine light. Doesn't affect your car that much, but you will have a lack of power in the high revs ( I believe these kick in somewhere around 4k rpm).
