Nice! Did you prep the plastic by rubbing it with alcohol to achieve optimal bonding?
I'm waiting for mine to arrive, ordered 6 days ago, but apparently Canadian orders take longer.

Yup and I used a hair dryer to heat up the adhesive in order to get a better bond...so far so good.

Mine arrived a couple of days ago and I fitted them just today. I think they look great - I just hope they are going to stay put!

My trim rings arrived yesterday too. I cleaned the area with alcohol, but had an issue with the 3M tape not sticking very well. I tried heating up with a hair dryer, as ukjeeper21 did, but they still didn't stick much at all. I ended up putting some clear silicone around the inside of the trim rings and then sticking them on.

I have them sitting overnight, with some masking tape holding them tightly in place. Will see how the look in the a.m. and try to take some pics.

Anyone else run into the same issue with the double-sided tape?

I found the supplied tape to be a bit poor as well (it is branded 3M so you'd expect it to be a bit better than it was).
Mine have been attached now for over a day and it now feels like they are well stuck.

Here's a couple of pics, after the installation.

The clear silicone seems to have secured them much better than with just the not so sticky 3M tape.
