My glasses do fit - maybe 'cause they're BMW brand. You know, same group of companies.

Is the (photographed) procedure described several posts earlier meant to replace the broken element, or just fix it as it is?

Seriously nobody tried repairing this?

the only thing I’ve ever found it valuable for is to block the sun coming through between the two visors. Otherwise pretty worthless to me.

Can't fit the sunglasses. Can't fit the EZPass. Can't fit a standard gas card or credit card.
Obviously, the Audi parts were cleverly designed by a mole on the Hyundai Genesis payroll.

An extra pair of Costco reading glasses are what is in mine. None of my sunglasses even come close to fitting.

His instructions are dead on but I just replaced the clip. I bought a 2012 A6 just last month. The clip broke later that day from just opening it once. Of course Audi Des Moines wouldn’t help out. They wanted $374 to fix it. I found this post and ordered the part from Audi Columbus, OH for $9 plus shipping. I had to use pliers to pull the old clip off. It went back together in less than a minute.
